Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 26 September 2026
Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before hiring any equipment from Bouncenberry. By making a booking you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms. These terms exist to keep everyone safe and to ensure a smooth, enjoyable experience for all.
1Booking & Payment
- A booking is only confirmed once you have received written confirmation from Bouncenberry.
- A non-refundable deposit of £30 is required to secure your booking date. The remaining balance is due in full on the day of delivery, before the equipment is set up.
- We accept payment by bank transfer or cash. Please confirm your preferred method at the time of booking.
- Prices quoted are for a standard hire period (typically one day). Extended hire periods must be agreed in advance and may incur additional charges.
- Prices are subject to change without notice, but any confirmed booking will be honoured at the price agreed at the time of booking.
2Cancellations & Refunds
- Cancellations made more than 14 days before the hire date will receive a full refund minus the £30 deposit.
- Cancellations made within 14 days of the hire date will forfeit the deposit. If cancellation is made within 48 hours, 50% of the total hire fee may be charged.
- Bouncenberry reserves the right to cancel a booking due to adverse weather conditions, equipment failure, or other circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, a full refund (including deposit) will be issued, or an alternative date offered.
- We monitor weather forecasts closely. If we deem conditions unsafe (e.g. sustained winds above 24 mph, heavy rain, or lightning), we will contact you as early as possible to discuss options.
3Delivery, Setup & Collection
- We deliver and collect within our standard service area. Delivery is free within 15 miles of Odiham, Hampshire. A mileage surcharge may apply beyond this radius — please enquire at the time of booking.
- You must ensure clear, safe access to the setup area. This includes a clear path at least 4 ft wide to the garden or venue.
- The setup area must be flat, clear of debris, animal waste, sharp objects, and overhead obstructions (e.g. washing lines, low branches).
- We require access to a standard 240V mains power socket within 25 metres of the setup location. If no mains power is available, a generator can be hired at an additional cost.
- Setup and collection times will be agreed in advance. Please ensure someone is present at both times.
4Supervision & Safety Rules
- An adult (18+) must supervise the equipment at all times while it is in use. Bouncenberry accepts no liability for accidents or injuries resulting from inadequate supervision.
- Maximum user numbers and age/weight limits are displayed on each unit and must be strictly observed.
- The following are strictly prohibited on all inflatables:
- Shoes, jewellery, glasses, or sharp objects
- Face paint, silly string, or confetti
- Food, drink, or chewing gum
- Climbing on the walls or roof of the unit
- Somersaults, rough play, or pushing
- Adults and children bouncing together unless the unit is specifically designed for mixed ages
- Children must not be left unsupervised on or near the equipment at any time.
- The blower must remain switched on and unobstructed at all times during use. If the unit begins to deflate, all users must exit immediately.
- In the event of strong winds, rain, or lightning, all users must exit the equipment immediately and the blower should be switched off.
5Damage & Loss
- The hirer is responsible for the equipment from the time of delivery until collection.
- Any damage caused by misuse, negligence, or failure to follow the safety rules will be charged to the hirer at the full cost of repair or replacement.
- Normal wear and tear is expected and will not be charged. However, damage caused by face paint, silly string, confetti, burns, cuts, or deliberate misuse will be charged in full.
- If the equipment is lost, stolen, or damaged beyond repair while in your care, you will be liable for the full replacement cost.
- Please do not attempt to repair any damage yourself — contact us immediately.
6Weather Policy
- Our inflatables are designed for outdoor use in dry, calm conditions. They must not be used in sustained winds exceeding 24 mph, heavy rain, or thunderstorms.
- A light shower is generally acceptable, but the unit should be deflated and users removed if rain becomes heavy or persistent.
- We will not issue refunds for weather-related cancellations made by the hirer on the day of hire unless we have also agreed that conditions are unsafe.
- If Bouncenberry cancels due to unsafe weather, a full refund or alternative date will be offered.
7Insurance & Compliance
- Bouncenberry holds £5 million public liability insurance. A copy of the certificate is available on request.
- All equipment is regularly inspected and tested in accordance with PIPA (Publicly Inflatable Products Association) guidelines.
- Our inflatables comply with current British safety standards (BS EN 14960).
- Our insurance does not cover accidents or injuries resulting from failure to follow the safety rules set out in these terms, or from inadequate supervision by the hirer.
8Liability
- Bouncenberry accepts no liability for any injury, loss, or damage arising from the use of hired equipment where the hirer has failed to comply with these terms and conditions or the safety instructions provided at delivery.
- The hirer agrees to indemnify Bouncenberry against any claims, costs, or expenses arising from the hirer's negligence or failure to supervise the equipment appropriately.
- Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our own negligence.
9Garden & Surface Conditions
- The hirer is responsible for ensuring the setup area is suitable. Bouncenberry reserves the right to refuse setup if the area is deemed unsafe (e.g. excessively sloped, waterlogged, or obstructed).
- We will use ground anchors (stakes) to secure equipment on grass. On hard surfaces (concrete, decking, tarmac), sandbags will be used. Please advise us of the surface type at the time of booking.
- Bouncenberry accepts no liability for any damage to lawns, driveways, or other surfaces caused during delivery, setup, or collection.
10Nerf Shooter & Interactive Equipment
- The Nerf Target Shooter includes an air blower and Nerf foam dart guns. All equipment must be used as intended and only with the foam darts provided.
- Nerf guns must not be aimed at faces or used aggressively. Adult supervision is required at all times.
- Replacement darts lost or damaged during hire may be charged at cost.
11Bungee Run
- The Bungee Run is suitable for participants aged 5 and over. Adult supervision is required at all times.
- Participants must remove shoes before use. No jewellery, sharp objects, or hard accessories.
- Only one participant per lane at any time. Participants must not attempt to cross into the other lane.
12Soft Play Sessions
- Soft play sessions are subject to separate booking terms communicated at the time of booking.
- A maximum of 20 children per session applies. Bookings are on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.
- Socks must be worn by all participants. No shoes on the soft play equipment.
